Lake
Tahoe Flights

Operates May thru October
Weather Permitting
Our adventure will begin shortly after
sunrise (approximately 5:00AM - 7:00AM) when balloon
conditions are the best and the natural beauty of this
alpine setting is revealed. Our
staff will pick our guests up at their hotel in South
Lake Tahoe and transport them to the launch site where
they will board the Tahoe Flyer, the worlds only U.S.C.G. certified
balloon launch and recovery vessel.
While cruising to the designated launch
site on Lake Tahoe a deluxe continental breakfast will
be served onboard. Once we have reached the designated
launching site, we will begin the fascinating process
of the balloon inflation right from the upper deck of
the Tahoe Flyer. Guests will have
the opportunity to observe our experienced crew as they
prepare the hot air balloon for flight. Once inflated,
guests will join us on the upper deck where will begin
boarding. When ready, the flight will depart and take
our guests high above Lake Tahoe for an approximate
one hour flight. Flying
from lake level to approximately 8,000 - 10,000 feet above
sea level provides views of all of Tahoe including Emerald
Bay, the second most photographed spot in the U.S. and
other vistas including Fallen Leaf Lake, Cascade Lake
and the desolation wilderness. Many days visibility
allows views of the peaks of Yosemite and the coastal
foothills over 150 miles away. At the end of the
flight, the pilot will remarkably land back on the upper
deck of the Tahoe Flyer and our crew will begin the
deflation process of the balloon. To
celebrate this once in a lifetime experience the pilot,
crew and our guests will all enjoy a traditional champagne
toast with plenty of champagne, mimosas and snacks while
cruising back to the Marina. Special logo souvenir
included.
Please allow approximately 4 hours for the entire trip.
